In 2011 I made a couple of visits at the prison “Targsor”, the only prison for women in Romania. “Intime” tries to question the manner of how a person manages to have privacy given the fact that in detention is forced to share almost 24 hours per day the same space with other persons.
Considering that in the evening when the lights go off in the detention room is the only period of the day when each one of them can afford a really intimate moment, I asked 10 prisoners to write on a paper their thoughts during those moments before fall asleep.
